Serenity Custom Woodworking, Inc. is a premier woodworking shop based in Clive, Iowa, boasting over 20 years of expertise and an exceptional 5-star reputation. Specializing in high-end bespoke cabinetry, custom kitchen remodels, and detailed trim work, their physical output represents the pinnacle of local craftsmanship.

The Problem

Despite two decades of top-tier service, the business's online presence failed to reflect the high quality of their physical output. Key friction points on the legacy platform included:

• Outdated Visual Hierarchy & Polish: The UI lacked modern spacing standards and refined typography. Functional elements—such as input forms—suffered from clipped labels, poor padding, and inconsistent visual styling that detracted from a luxury brand identity.
• Navigation & Content Flow Friction: Information architecture was scattered, making it difficult for visitors to explore service offerings or map past projects to their specific remodeling needs.
• Fragmented Conversion Paths: The primary lead channel (the contact form) lacked clear visual scaffolding and layout polish, leading to high drop-off risks for prospective high-ticket clients.

Visual Identity & Design System

• Color Palette: A clean, modern neutral scheme designed to make high-resolution wood textures, custom paint finishes, and architectural details pop off the screen without visual noise.
• Typography: Elegant, highly legible typography pairings that balance modern minimalism with timeless craftsmanship.
• Spacing & Alignment: Strict implementation of standard design systems, replacing crowded elements with generous white space and structured grid layouts.

Navigation & Conversion Strategy

• Restructured Information Architecture: Replaced the chaotic original navigation with intuitive, room-based categorizations (Kitchens, Vanities, Built-ins, Storage Solutions).
• Polished Lead Capture: Redesigned interactive elements from the ground up, providing generous breathing room, clear label alignments, and smooth micro-interactions to build trust during initial inquiry.
